Spectrum Digital Services, LLC, is headquartered in Hartland, Wisconsin, just 20 miles west of Milwaukee. The roots of the company go back to 1998 when the recordable compact disc (CD-R) became a cost effective method of distributing data. The only drawback to using a CD-R was the need for professional labeling. Although paper labels and marking pens were first used, the market soon demanded professional, customized screen printing.
